VISION:
An empowered and creative society propelled by the culture of peace that continually protects the environment, observes Filipino culture and traditions and upholds the integrity of creation.
MISSION
To develop mechanisms and opportunities that will support Culture and Arts workers to actively engage in sustained programs and projects for the regeneration of Filipino culture and traditions, enhancement of peoples’ creative capacities and practice and the promotion of harmony in diversity.
Goals/Objectives:
1. To involve in sustained culture and arts projects and programs that promote artistic excellence and advocate the culture of peace, environment protection and people empowerment;
2. To engage in theatrical productions based in Mindanao people’s stories, folklores and historical events and showcase these productions to the broadest audience locally, nationally and internationally;
3. To process the continual practice of creative engagements and the development of traditions and share and promote these to other culture and arts practitioners and broadest audience possible;
4. To facilitate means that support and benefit the member’s as well as design schemes that ensure the equity and welfare of artists;
5. To link and cooperate with individuals, cultural groups and institutions involved in enhancing and developing the creative capacities of communities; and
6. To participate in the initiatives for community advancement and peoples’ actions for a more just and humane social conditions.
KEY PROGRAMS:
Production of Artistic Showcases, Tours and Exchanges (PASTE)
Creation of theatre showcases and other performance expertise for seasons and tours that promote community-to-community linkages and exchanges
Fundraising Administration, Marketing and Enterprise (FAME)
Efforts in raising and administering funds from various means and sources to support the production of performance showcases and member’s works as well as promoting and marketing these productions to a broad audience possible.
Special Events and Arts Management (SEAM)
Organizing and managing special events and artistic endeavors of members and groups whose works are in line with the foundation’s vision and goals
Specialists and Technicians in Artistic Resource (STAR)
Organizing and continually developing a group of culture and arts specialists and technicians to become consultants and partners of communities and organizations in their culture and arts engagements.
Community and Artists Partnership for Advocacy (CAPA)
This may also serve as a program for the honing of artist’s skills and perspective while they facilitate community development projects integrating culture, arts and traditions.
